About Dreamglow Candles
Dreamglow candles was founded in 1981 by Kay and David Wardle making decorative candles for high-class gift shops and a small number of candles for local churches. In 1992 the business moved from its original premises in West Sussex to its present home in North Devon and the workshop was opened for direct sales to the public. The last few years have seen a decline in the popularity of decorative candles and a rapid growth in the market for church candles. In 2006 it was therefore decided to concentrate on this latter aspect of the business. This necessitated closing the premises to the public due to
lack of space.
We now specialise in producing high quality hand-made candles for churches, restaurants and hotels and for weddings and other events. All our candles are made from top quality, non-animal derived materials and are designed to be long burning without smoking or dripping. The business continues to develop but remains a family business still under the control of the founders. Whatever the future direction our first priorities will always be quality and personal service to our customers.

Our Shipping Policy
Postage and packing cost is automatically worked out based on weight of items ordered. This amount is shown when you add an item to your shopping basket. (If you add items to your basket, there is NO obligation to buy.)
- up to 1.0 kilos £4.00
- up to 2.0 kilos £6.00
- up to 6.0 kilos £8.50
- up to 10.0 kilos £10.00
- up to 30.0 kilos £12.50
For orders over 30 kilos, please contact us. Orders of this size are usually carriage paid.
Purchases over £200 are shipped Free.
Payment by Cheque
We offer the choice of paying by card or by cheque. If you choose to pay by cheque, you will be directed to our secure payment page. Simply enter your details and an order will be generated and shown to you. Print off (or write down) the order details and send it to us along with your cheque. Your goods will be prepared, and on receipt of your cheque your goods will be dispatched to you. Please allow 10 days for delivery.
